  • Arrivals and Mocktails

Wed 21 Jul 2021 Mrs McGarrigle

Everyone was ready for the 5pm arrival of our special guests, Year 6! Wearing their best clothes, they all looked amazing, and a photo opportunity was taken. They were all ready for mocktails and a disco, with the fabulous food that had been prepared to celebrate their final year at Primary School.

  • Headteacher for the Day

Wed 21 Jul 2021 Mrs McGarrigle

Today we had two new Headteacher's join us from Year 5, and they did an amazing job! They held meetings, signed letters, answered the telephone; and answered the questions other pupils had (for example 'can we have a swimming pool' and 'can we have a new ipad every year'?). They seemed to think that the first job of the day was a nice drink and a cake, which I agreed with. They saved the school some money, when they decided that new ipads every year were a waste of money; but their idea of sweets free all day for the children was not accepted by Miss Sepet our Business Manager.

  • Family Prayer

Tue 08 Sep 2020 Mrs McGarrigle

We would like to share a prayer that we are enjoying in our assemblies, which is about togetherness and working together:

    God be with our family,

From the youngest to the oldest,

    Lighting up our relationships,

    Sowing grace into our troubles.

    God be with our family,

    Weaving love into our work,

    Our rest, and our play.

    Amen

This term we are studying togetherness, and rebuilding our school family after lockdown.
