Outstanding Sports Award
Tue 23 Apr 2019We are pleased to announce that we have just been informed that we are through to the judging stage in the Community Education Awards 2019 for Bollywood Dancing. I will let you know when we hear the outcome - but well done to all of our children and staff! -
New Staff
Tue 23 Apr 2019Please welcome Ms Penny Lam to the school, who will be covering our PPA release for teachers (planning, preparation and assessment). Ms Lam will be working for three days a week, and I am sure you will be meeting her as you drop your children off, or pick them up at them end of the day. -

Tue 23 Apr 2019We are delighted to welcome Mrs Nina Ashford to our team. Mrs Ashford will be working for three mornings a week, with pupils in Years 2 and 3 who are eligable for Pupil Premium funding. These will be writing groups, and I hope the children have lots to talk to you about, and show their amazing progress. Please welcome Mrs Ashford when you see her. -
Junior Bake Off!
Tue 23 Apr 2019Parents of pupils between the ages of 9 and 15 are invited to apply for a place on this programme, which will be televised by Love Productions. The details of applications (where to email) are attached, and there are posters with the address around the school. -

Neighbourly and Aldi
Wed 03 Apr 2019We have joined a scheme with Aldi and Neighbourly to collect and distribute food from Aldi for our school. This will start after the Easter holidays, and we will send out further details of how you can access this for your family nearer the time. -
A Big Thank You!
Wed 03 Apr 2019A big thank you to Universal Music UK Sound Foundation, who have awarded St Mary's £350 towards music lessons. As a result of this successful grant bid, all of KS1 will now be able to start music lessons in term 4. Prepare yourself parents of Years 1 and 2 pupils! The children have asked for recorder lessons, and we are currently purchasing 60 recorders, ensuring each child has their own instrument (to keep!)
