  • Speak Out, Stay Safe!

Fri 20 Sep 2019 Mrs McGarrigle

Today we have been working with the NSPCC to find out more about their Speak Out, Stay Safe campaign. The children in KS1 and 2 have learnt about sharing their worries, identifying a safe adult to help them, and Childline.

For further support, if you have any worries, or are concerned about a child, please contact Mrs McGarrigle, Mrs Davison, Mrs Pooley or Mrs Fletcher on 01322 665212. If you are a child, you can speak to any of these adults on the telephone, or when you see them in school (we will make sure this is private).

Contacts for Childline can be found on our Safeguarding page, and:

  • Roald Dahl Dress-up Day 2019

Fri 13 Sep 2019 Mrs Davison

All the children will be taking part in the Roald Dahl Dress-up day on Friday 13th September 2019.

Getting dressed up all Dahlicious for Roald Dahl Day is a fun-filled and educational way to raise funds for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. Your child is invited to donate £1 to come to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character. It's a marvellous opportunity for your child to champion bravery just like Roald Dahl's Matilda for the day!

It's a great way to set your child’s imagination whizzing and ignite their passion for reading. Take a look on the web page for more information and ideas for dressing up.
