  • Ducks in the Reception Class!

Mon 04 Mar 2019 Mrs McGarrigle
St Mary's ducks arrived today, but at the moment they are incubating eggs that are 'pipping'. This means that the baby ducks have knocked a small whole in the shell because their oxygen sack has run out of air, and they are almost ready to break out. We are in the process of setting up a 'duck cam' on the children's page of the website, so that you can watch their progress at any time of the day or night!
  • The Great British Spring Clean

A big thank you to all of the children in Year 5, who took part in The Great British Spring Clean with the Mayor of Swanley. Well done!
  • Tree of Hope

Fri 01 Mar 2019 Mrs McGarrigle
Have we told you about our Tree of Hope? Our hopes are personal, and not shared, but the children discussed during our worship time, the hopes they have for the future. They then hung their hopes for the future on the tree, and will change these when their hopes change (we discussed that as we get older, the things we hope for change). We respect the privacy of others, and only share our hopes with permission.
