Mrs Pooley and Mrs Padmore have recently introduced Maths of the Day to the whole school, and I had the pleasure of watching Year 5 today taking part in the most amazing problem solving lesson on angles. All of the children were actively taking part in a time limited challenge, and have sent me messages telling me what they felt about this:

"I found it fun and amazing."

"I learnt how to measure a reflex angle."

"I was under pressure and challenged"

"It helped me to use a protractor, and I liked that it was hard."

"It was very fun but it was hard."
