Wilson Class Year 4

 World Book Day 2024

On Friday 8th of March we will be celebrating World Book Day.

This year we want to celebrate the wonderful work of the author Julia Donaldson. We will be learning all about her and her brilliant stories.

We would love your child to come dressed as a character from one her books.

Here are a few of the well-known books she's written : The Gruffalo, Cave Baby, Stickman, Snail and the whale and Superworm.

There is a link below to help:

So... get your thinking caps on and why not share one of her online stories. https://youtu.be/lbXZBT8wv1w?feature=shared

We are looking for volunteers to help with reading this term.

We would love some parent volunteers to hear readers for an afternoon or morning each week until Easter. No experience necessary and everyone welcome.

Please have a chat with Mrs Kennedy or your class teacher, if interested.

Wilson Class!

Welcome to your class page Year 4. I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas and are ready for an exciting year ahead! We are looking forward to seeing you all.

We will return to school on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. Our start time will be 8:45am and school will end at 3:20pm each day. Remember that maths club takes place every morning. If you do not attend this, but would like to, please come and see me.

We have PE every Monday afternoon from January until the Easter holiday, so you will need to bring trainers or plimsolls to school each week on this day. Our first session is on Monday 8th January.

Please check our daily timetable below to see the lessons you will be studying each week and look at the medium term plans to see the exciting topics we will be learning about this term.
