St Mary's celebrated World Book Day with lots of fun activities throughout the day, including a parade and competition for the best costumes, story writing activities, class teacher's read their favourite book to another class and Year 6 read a story to the Nursery children. 100% of our Year 6 children achieved the expected standard for Reading, 88% achieved the expected standard for Writing, 81% achieved the expected standard for Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and 96% achieved the expected standard for Maths.

Our Christian value for March is 'Love' 

Monday 6th February 2017

Today during worship, the whole school were thinking about the Syrian Crisis and praying for people in need. We spoke again about the risks of radical and extreme views which could influence us negatively.

St Mary's is in the top 1% of schools in England for reading! Well done to all our pupils and staff!
