School Values

"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16

Thankfulness

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights."

James 1:17

We seek to develop the potential of every child through an excellent education, a faith in God, and the development of a family within the school to support and encourage in all we do.

Respect

"A new command I give you, love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34-35

Picture 1
Jesus taught us to respect others, and treat others as you would expect to be treated yourself. In this way we encourage all of our community to respect the beliefs of others, and value each other as the children of God. In doing this we create a family in school which ensures all children feel safe and thrive.

Honesty

"Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out."

Proverbs 10:9

Jesus taught us to have honesty in all we do, in our behaviour and in our learning. This develops trust, and ensures that we are able to live and work in harmony and peace with each other.

Love

"Let love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man."

Proverbs 3:3-4

By fostering a love for learning and a love for each other, and providing stimulating and exciting learning experiences, all members of the school community will be able to achieve and express themselves fully as members of the family of the school, the Church and God.

Resilience

The Bible story of the storm on the lake shows a time when Jesus encouraged his disciples to have the courage and determination to carry on even when they were worried or frightened, and wanted to give up.

We encourage all of our pupils to try their best, and be resilient, even when they encounter something new or difficult. This attitude to life will ensure that all pupils are successful and determined to achieve.
